All aboard for a spectacular adventure on the high seas as Derby Theatre presents an award-winning adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
The swashbuckling show will be making waves at the theatre over Easter, so be sure to reserve your berth before the crew sets sail.
The pirate-packed production has thrills for the whole family from Saturday, March 28-Saturday, April 11.
Theresa Heskins’ adaptation of Treasure Island is inspired by Stevenson’s classic tale of buried treasure and buccaneers.
Directed by Derby Theatre’s Sarah Brigham, the show promises to be brimful with live music, sumptuous sets, colourful costumes and dramatic tension.
Featuring in the role of Long John Silver will be Beth Hinton Lever (West Side Story, Leicester Curve, As You Like it, National Theatre)
All performances will have integrated BSL and captioning. Treasure Island follows on from the Derby Theatre’s hugely successful production of The Jungle Book.
