Buxton Drama League will be presenting the perfect antidote to the winter blues with its annual pantomime, at the Burbage Institute.
This year the group is bringing Mother Goose to the stage. In the title role, Anthony Davies brings glamour and hilarity to the part of the dame; while Peter Stubbington brings villainy to the role of Mephisto.
Fairy Goosedown is played by a newcomer to the group, Holly Howe while the principal boy and girl, are played by Maria Carnegie and Jayne Marling.
Mother Goose will be performed on February 1, 7 and 8 at 7.30pm with matinees at 2.30pm on the Saturdays.
Tickets are available now from Burbage News, Clowes the Chemist and Scrivener’s Bookshop, all in Buxton.
