The first Derby Book Festival Autumn Edition is taking place this October.
It will feature the festival’s usual eclectic mix of fiction and non-fiction events featuring some of the most popular genres: politics, thrillers, adventure and lots more.
Tickets go on sale for all events from September 9, when you can also pick up a copy of the programme from QUAD, libraries, arts venues, cafés and tourist offices, or read it online at: http://www.derbybookfestival.co.uk
QUAD will host most of the festival events including:
Sir Vince Cable MP; BBC editorial director and former economics editor Kamal Ahmed; Raynor Winn on her amazing memoir, The Salt Path; best-selling crime writers Nicci French (aka Nicci Gerrard and Sean French) and local author Joanna Cannon, pictured above, on Breaking and Mending, her memoir of being a junior doctor.
