Founded in 2009 with the aim to produce quality Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in a concentrated rehearsal period, PB Theatricals Youth Theatre will be celebrating its tenth season with a reprise of its first ever shows – The Mikado and The Pirates of Penzance.
The shows are split between younger performers (aged eight to 18) and older performers (aged 16 to 30).
The shows are always cast, rehearsed and performed within the space of a week.
This year they will perform Pint-Sized Pinafore three times at the Buxton Fringe: at The Rotunda on July 20 at 2pm and 8pm and The Green Man Gallery on July 19 at 7.30pm.
They will then perform the Mikado at Bakewell Medway Centre on July 27, Chapel Playhouse on July 28 and The Mikado, July 29, and The Pirates of Penzance, August 4, at New Mills Art Theatre.
