Aladdin arrives on New Mills stage

Landing by magic carpet, of course, Aladdin opens on the New Mills Art Theatre stage on January 26.

The adventures of Aladdin, a lad who battles with the evil Abanazer for the magic lamp and it’s powerful Genie, flying through mystical lands finding his fortune in treasure and winning the hand of Princess Mandarin.

Along the way he is aided – not really – by his daft brother Wishee Washee and raucous mother Widow Twankey in full panto Dame regalia, plus a couple of incompetent policeman Hu Dun Wong and Yu Dun Pong providing the classic panto comedy fun!

Glittering sets and sparkling costumes match the dancing and singing from a strong company.

Get to the Art Theatre, take your seat and let the cast of Aladdin fly you and your family to panto land – where loads of laughter, jokes for all ages and a magical experience of traditional live family entertainment will be enjoyed by all.

There are six performances of Aladdin at 7.15pm on January 26, February 2 and 3 and at 2.15pm on January 27 and 28 and February 3.
