Pupils play orphans in film

Pupils from a Derbyshire school are to feature in a film being used as part of a production of Awful Auntie, a play adapted for the stage from David Walliams’ popular book.

It was the fact that Foremarke Hall, Repton’s preparatory school, pictured above, closely matched the fictional Saxby Hall that attracted Birmingham Stage Company’s production team.

The school and 20 of its pupils, playing orphans will appear in two film sections in the play.
