Aspiring writers have a chance to learn more on a new How to Get Published course at QUAD in Derby in the next couple of months.
The course will focus on creating the perfect cover letter, synopsis and sample chapters for agents or publisher submission as well as how and where to research the best place to send your project.
Ideal for anyone with a novel underway or finished, this popular course has been run many times at QUAD.
How to Get Published course runs over four weeks from April 3-May 8 (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays). For more information or to book places please go to http://www.derbyquad.co.uk/creative-course-(adult)/writing-and-performing-poetry-with-sophie-sparham.aspx
Those wishing to try their hand at poetry will also have the opportunity to join Sophie Sparham’s masterclass on writing and performing poetry, which will give great tips and advice on how to create new poems as well as tips on how to deliver them to an audience.
The masterclass will be a precursor to a six-week poetry course later in 2017. Writing and Performing Poetry with Sophie Sparham takes place on Thursday April 6 from 7pm, tickets are £8.
