An Evening with Inua Ellam

Littered with poems, stories and anecdotes An Evening With An Immigrant is Inua Ellam’s fantastic, poignant, story of escaping fundamentalist Islam, directing an arts festival, performing solo shows at the National Theatre and drinking wine with the Queen – all without a country to belong to or a place to call home.

He was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother in Nigeria, which he left for England when he was 12 years old.

His show is at Derby Theatre Studio on March 11 at 8pm. For tickets go to http://www.derbytheatre.co.uk
