Toasts were made over the weekend as the Y Not? Festival at Pikehall marked its 10th birthday, guests at the party included headliners Snoop Dogg, Basement Jaxx and Primal Scream, plus a sell-out crowd of 15,000 revellers.
Y Not Festival Marketing Manager, Simon Mawbey said:“This year was simply incredible, our biggest and best to date and we wanted to thank each and every person who attended and made it so special.
“There are too many moments to pick from but Basement Jaxx playing ‘Where’s your head at?’ under the firework display, some Smiths classics from Johnny Marr and of course Snoop were all perfect moments.
“The weather was on our side with blue skies most of the weekend. We would love to see all the festival-goers back next year for number 11!”
In addition to marking their tenth year Y Not featured several firm favourites such as the rabble-rousing paint fight and the ‘Y NOT’ sign, affectionately referred to as ‘TONY’ when viewed from behind.
The fairground featured ‘BUMP’ roller disco whilst silent disco took care of the post-midnight entertainment.
As well as Main Stage headliners artists including Ash, Johnny Marr, Pulled Apart By Horses, Slaves, Rae Morris, Bo Ningen, Lower Than Atlantis and many others wowed crowds throughout the weekend. Y Notters even managed to shake off their handovers on Saturday morning for a early workout session with TV legend, Mr Motivator.
Y Not? has already released tier one tickets for the 2016 edition, for a limited amount of time at the same price as this year via http://www.ynotfestivals.co.uk.
