The event involves five mini contemporary arts events and a double-decker bus which will transport you between each venue.
On board will be conductor Sophie Cero (pictured) who will entertain passengers. There will be performance, games, puppets, storytelling, creative walking, and installations.
Flaming Skirt Festival creator, Sally Lemsford, aims to provide social events for people in their own locality rather than a gallery.
She wants people to look afresh at their own environment, to think about their own everyday experiences, stories, moments in life. Generally it involves having fun, she says.
The event starts at Ironville Church Hall on June 28 at 10am and will visit Alfreton and Langley Mill, returning to Ironville at 5.30pm.
