More tickets released for Miners’ Strike film

340x230Additional tickets have been released for a special screening at QUAD in Derby of a film which looks at the Britain’s longest Strike – the Miners’ Strike of 1984/85.

Still The Enemy Within gives a unique insight into the raw emotional story of history’s most dramatic events 30 years on.

The film weaves stunningly edited archive footage and never-before-seen interviews with the real key players of the strike: the miners themselves. 

Still The Enemy Within brought audiences to tears with a two-minute standing ovation at the Sheffield Documentary Festival, where it won the festival’s prestigious Audience Award.

Still The Enemy Within (certificate 15) screens at QUAD on Tuesday November 11 at 6.30pm.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A from the film’s producer Sinead Kirwan and other members of the production team.

Tickets are £7.80 and £6.50 concessions.
