Then don’t miss Reconstructing Murder – A Murder Mystery Evening on Monday 26 August at 7.30pm.

A young woman, last seen in the vicinity of Buxton Opera House, has dramatically disappeared. Police are holding a reconstruction of her last known movements and alongside, members of her family are pleading for you to become involved in the hope that you can solve this intriguing mystery.

However, skeletons tumbling from the family closet mean events take an unexpected twist as the action moves from the stage into the auditorium, foyer and bar.

This will be your chance to meet the suspects up close and personal to uncover the true facts behind a smokescreen of lies.

But beware – one of the family is out to prove that blood is thicker than water.

The evening lasts till after 10pm (when the culprit will be unmasked).

Audiences will be given free access to move between the various levels of the beautiful theatre, interrogating suspects. The show starts at 7.30pm.
