Jazz funk at Chesterfield

j2f-wheelIf you’re wondering where the sun’s gone, you can catch some aural sunshine with Jazz2Funk at Chesterfield Jazz Club on September 19.

This West Coast fusion-Latin-Funk quartet have been entertaining jazz club audiences all over the UK this summer.Expect smooth summer sounds with compositions from Dave Grusin, Jeff Lorber, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Victor Feldman, George Benson, Larry Carlton and much more.

Featuring Dave Shields (Aztec Camera, Swans) on electric bass, Pat Sprakes on guitar, Clive Loveday on drums, plus a couple of special guests to add spice to the mix.

Chesterfield Jazz Club is at Club Chesterfield, Chester Street, and doors open at 8pm, performance at 8.30pm.

This was originally planned for August 15 and if you have tickets for this date you can either get a refund, save them for September 19 or go along to the show on August 15 which is now guitarist Matt Chandler.
