Chesterfield Theatres has just revealed what will be on stage this autumn and winter and there is going to be some great entertainment on offer.
Highlights of the new season at the Pomegranate Theatre include John Godber’s comedy September in the Rain starring Claire Sweeney, and Jon Thomson (from TV’s Cold Feet) and three amazing dramas, presented by Rumpus Theatre Company, Talking Scarlet and TABS Productions.
This year’s Pantomime is Beauty and the Beast, and will star Tina Barrett (from hit pop group S Club 7), Jon Moses (from ITV’s Superstar), and back by popular demand Rik Gaynor.
Looking further ahead, there is Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, which is the world’s longest running play, and to celebrate 60 incredible years on stage, it’s on tour for the first time, with a star cast to give you a once in a life-time opportunity to see this masterpiece in Chesterfield.
Highlights at the Winding Wheel include the smash hit West End musical, Dreamboats and Petticoates and the superb Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
