The exhibition is a stunning assortment of their beautiful work of which artsbeat caught a sneak preview while delivering the July magazine on Thursday.
Their subjects are wide and varied but the result is always guaranteed to be a fantastic shot, be it a car, a gorilla, a horse or a motorbike – if it moves they capture it on film.
The still and tranquil also receives the Schonhut treatment and the results are breath-taking from delicate flowers to setting suns and landscapes both local and further afield.
Claire and Jack are a husband and wife team with many years photographic experience and they have travelled the world taking stunning shots of wildlife and landscapes and intimate portraits of the folk they met on the way. You can view more of their work on their website http://www.schonotterphotography.co.uk.
They have also recently ventured into a new and exciting area of horse portraiture in an oil painting-like style.
The Smithy Studios are inviting you to join them for an exhibition preview on Friday June 28 from 7pm-9pm where you will be able to meet Jack and Claire and catch up with their latest venture – Hummingbird Flying Cameras – with footage filmed from their state-of-the-art remote controlled octocopter.
