Juniors to stage Jungle Book

jungle bookBuxton Opera House’s Kaleidoscope Junior Theatre has been hard at work rehearsing for their latest production, The Jungle Book taking place at Pavilion Arts Centre on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June.

The young actors aged between eight to ten years have been in rehearsals for over 6 months and have worked on skills such as projection, physicality and characterisation. Since its inception, Kaleidoscope Junior Theatre Company has gained glowing reviews for their high-quality and creative productions.

A wild jungle adventure for children four plus and all the family, The Jungle Book features the much-loved characters Baloo, Bagheera, Mowgli and the terrifying Shere Khan.

The story of a boy, raised by wolves in the Indian jungle, will be retold in an entirely original and thrilling way by the young actors.

Support young actors and join Mowgli as he journeys to join the ‘man tribe’ and meet some new friends along the way in a production packed with animals, pathos and laughter.

The Jungle Book takes place on Friday 14 June at 7pm and Saturday 15 June at 3pm at Pavilion Arts Centre.
