Internationally recognised for his interpretations of Liszt, Brahms and Janacek, Libor’s playing has been compared with that of the great masters such as Brendel, Kempff and Arrau.
He is said to possess ‘exceptional poetic verve and inwardness’ and his recordings are said to offer ‘compellingly beautiful and narrative performances’.
His third recording of music by Brahms marked him as an ‘artist of vision and phenomenal sound control, offering readings of radiant sensitivity’. He has performed at venues worldwide including the Wigmore Hall and the Barbican in London.
The concert will be in the Abbotsholme School Chapel, Rocester, on February 19 at 8pm.
