West End superstar, leading lady Maria Friedman is making her first debut appearance at Buxton Opera House with her award-winning concert on Saturday 9 February at 7.30pm.
Maria Friedman created and performed leading parts in the musicals Passion, The Woman in White (both West End and Broadway), Chicago, Ragtime and Sunday in the Park with George, among many others. She was awarded with three Olivier Awards and received an amazing seven nominations! She can be heard on various original cast albums, and has recorded seven solo CDs (including her latest, The Great British Songbook).
Theatre concerts include sell-outs in New York, and at London’s Barbican, Royal Albert Hall and Cadogan Hall.
