There will be daily screenings of the film in the Box at QUAD on December 23 and 24 and again from December 27 until Sunday 30.
Adam Buss, QUAD’s director of audience engagement said: “At QUAD we value customer feedback very highly and are always looking at ways of improving our offer. Over the last couple of months we have had a lot of comments from customers who would prefer to watch Skyfall here.
“We are also starting to use our third screening space, the Box, on a regular basis so we can increase audience choice and respond to trends quicker. This means that more frequently films will be added to the programme after our brochure is out so we will be communicating this to customers online, via our social networks and flyers in the building.”
Skyfall (12A) marks the Bond series’ 50th anniversary by paying homage to many of the previous movies, but is actually quite unlike any of the other films. Daniel Craig stars as 007 and his mission is to keep a computer drive that has a list of British agents from being used against them. His loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.
As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Skyfall’s prodigious cast list includes Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw, the film is directed by Sam Mendes.
The film screening times are as follows: Sunday December 23 at 5:15pm and 8:20pm, Monday December 24 at 5pm, Thursday 27 at 5:45pm and 8:55pm, Friday 28 at 6:05pm and 9:10pm, Saturday 29 at 5:30pm and 8:35pm and Sunday 30 at 5:15pm and 8:20pm.
