Acoustic music marathon at Bar Hox

lafBar Hox in Derby’s Sadlergate is staging a charity Christmas event next weekend in aid of Treetops Hospice and meningitis research.

It is expected that the Mayor of Derby, Cllr Lisa Higginbottom will at the Friday night launch, at which local band LAF will be playing live in the bar from 8.30pm.

On Saturday December 15 from 12 noon you will be able to learn more about Treetops and the Meningitis Research Foundation and there will be a visit from Santa and his sleigh.

On Sunday there will be an all day acoustic music marathon and those booked to play so far are Thornton Clough, Chris White And Friends, The Weasel Kickers, John Kinane, Matt McGuiness, LAF, Stephen Vaughan Williams and Jonathan Eagles, Harriet McDonnell and Leere.

The marathon starts at 11am and the organisers say there are still names to be added to the list of performers.
