Wildlife sculptor opens studio

eddie hallamWildlife sculptor Eddie Hallam will be staging an exhibition at his Riber workshop from this weekend.

The renowned artist will be opening up Greenways Farm, Riber, near Matlock, from November 30 until December 9 from 10am to 5pm every day.

There will be sculpting demonstrations and an exhibition of his amazing bronze wildlife sculptures.

Eddie is an  award-winning nature reserve warden and a former wildlife park director.  First and foremost, however, he is an active and passionate wildlife conservationist.  An outdoor countryman through and through, he is never happier than when in remote, wild places studying and watching wildlife.

Although Eddie had previously spent many years carving birds, he found that sculpting gave him greater flexibility and freedom than working entirely in wood and he now specialises in high quality, limited edition bronzes.  Each original, life-size sculpture is based on Eddie’s own observations, field sketches and photographs.

Visitors are also most welcome to call at the workshop at other times by prior arrangement with Eddie go to http://www.wildlifesculptures.co.uk for more details.
