Derby Theatre’s enchanting Christmas show, Charlotte’s Web, is only just over a week away from opening and the cast and company are busy rehearsing. Having spent the last few weeks in London, they’ve now moved to their newly opened building on Green Lane.
In the lead up to the big day one of the team is writing a special behind-the-scenes blog – Bea, their fly on the web who is penning the online diary says: “I’ll have all the latest gossip and news with what’s going on behind closed doors in the rehearsal room and from where I’m sat no-one knows I’m there, so I hear and see it all as the magic happens!”
Bea has so far shared tales from the legendary ‘buffet table’ (a positive feast of treats that the cast have to stock up each day) and about how the actors are getting into character as animals. She’ll be keeping us updated, so check the website regularly to find out more.
The show opens on Friday December 7, so there’s only 11 sleeps until you can watch the show for yourself and see why Bea is getting so excited!
