Tideswell Community Players will transform a former village church into a very convincing secondhand shop when they perform Good Things, by Liz Lochhead, over the next couple of days.
This gentle rom-com is set in a charity shop where secondhand goods are not all that come through the door.
There is a range of lively staff on hand and colourful customers who visit and browse as Susan, the shop assistant, approaches her dreaded 50th birthday: suddenly single and still multi-tasking.
The play, directed by Jennifer Bower, includes familiar and new faces to the Tideswell stage and promises to be a very entertaining night out.
It is being performed from tomorrow Thursday November 22 until Saturday November 24 at 7:30pm in the Old United Reformed Church, Parke Road.
Tickets £8 and £6 (concessions) from http:firstname.lastname@example.org, Tideswell Post Office, Litton Shop and 01298 871063. They advise you to take along a cushion for added comfort.
