The Belper artist has been holding the workshops on Thursday mornings throughout October at Studio 61 in Holloway, near Matlock.
The aim is to be creative and join in – it’s not about how well you can draw, but the fun of drawing itself. Ruth says everyone is welcome whatever their artistic ability. She organised the sessions to raise awareness of the art form as part of the Campaign for Drawing charity.
The last session this Thursday (October 25) is from 10.15 until 11.30am and there is no need to book just turn up at the gallery prepared to draw and enjoy yourself.
